A paper is requested on the subject of The Fife Archive.
Lecture - August
The final lecture of the season, to be delivered on Tuesday 24th August, is entitled:
The Collegiate Church Of St. Matthew - My Search by Gordon Vincent.
Sounds like a personal statement and it must be suspected that the subject is more familiar under another name.
So hear this - Gordon has some stuff to say regarding a favourite hobbyhorse!
Hope he's prepared to publish it here and not attempt the old "I only have notes" wheeze. J
Lecture - July
The lecture to be delivered on Tuesday 27th July is entitled:
Digging Up Men - The Archaeology Of The 18th Century Kirkyard Mason by Derek Hunter.
Derek is a teacher of archaeology by profession and this talk and slideshow should prove fascinating.
Honorary Membership
At the Installation Meeting, on 29th June, Lodge Hope was pleased and proud to offer Honorary Membership to Frank Melville P.M. who has been a regular visitor and stalwart supporter of the Lodge. Frank gracefully accepted the offer on that day which by coincidence was his 86th birthday.
